Simple lips | Ofaneverydaygirl

For when you do not want orange blaring lips, a little wash of colour or sheen really adds something to your look, and makes you somewhat put together. I hate sheeny lips, and lipgloss, but I think its time to delve back into the world of lip gloss. The last time I was obsessed with it was when I was 10, and my friend and I collected them like crazy, but one day someone stole them all in school. I think it was that so called friend.

Forget friends, lets talk lips. Lets start with my favourite. The Body shop lip balm, in strawberry is the best thing I've tried in a long time. I am so anti- strawberry scented products, and everything else scented in that matter but this is the bomb. It smells lush, adds a sheen and balms those lips up. The Clarins lip perfector is of similar realms. The application is easy and the formula is equally good.  Great for some added sheen and plumps those the lips up. The payoff is quite natural/neutral, so do not expect a blast of colour. Though, that does not take away from the greatness of this so called 'perfector'

On the other hand, the Revlon lip butters, are an oldie but an goldie. The shade in tutti frutti is an orange but a sheeny shiny one, with minimal colour payoff, which can be buildable. I think this would be great in a pinky nude, great for everyday wear and the look of plumped lips. Those ladies on instagram with those luscious lips are putting pressure on me to want bigger sheeny lips. In that matter, any specifics I need?

All in all, they all (how many times can say all?) are of similar formulations, I think. They have a thick moisturizing consistency, in a good way of course, which feels nice against the lips; both as a moisturises but also for some plumpness, sheen and lushness. A lot better than the usual vaseline, I say.
