No, I am not going to fangirl over One direction's song 'little things'. Even though that song is amazing (Yes, I just said that). But really, the 'little things' I want to talk about is a little different. A tad more materialistic.
Having small accessories and items really can transform a look, and can make it look so much more luxurious. I am not talking about those silly bandz, as well as, Loom bandz, which have been all the craze, but small fine items that really make it look like 'something-something'.
Bracelets have been the greatest element of added luxury. No, I am not talking about Loom Bandz, but rather delicate bracelets all mounted up together. Many high-street stores have been doing pack of bracelets but I am really fussy and really, they look tacky. I would much rather invest in really unique individual bracelets, at a time until making a collection of an arm party. Monica Vinader, as well as, Astley Clarke have some amazing pieces. However, even leather jewellery has been all in, especially with metal elements. I am oh-so in love with the Hermes collier de chien cuff. The price tag makes me want to squirm, and as much as I do not see the worth, I still wish for a rich husband to buy me one, or maybe even 100. (Joke, we are all strong independent women, we do not need no men)
Talking about luxury. what doesn't ooze luxury than pearls, diamonds and emeralds. Diamond, both little and big add an aura of sophistication. Now, I am not talking about primark's £2 5 pack of diamonds. I've been there, done that and they haven't added that oomph for me. The pear cuts above are only £159 as opposed to £159,000, so they're not as bad. Similarly, with that to the emerald drop earring which will transform any look. We can totally pretend we are going to a red carpet event with fine young gentlemen in Dolce & Gabanna.
And of course what better little thing is there, than a hat? Especially those that can mask some surface area of your face are a go-go for those off days. The net one, of course has to be my favourite. Though, there totally needs to be an all black, to be reminiscent of my feelings on those off days.
