The non-standard flats | Ofaneverydaygirl

Finally- I have some actual Chanel in my life. My monotony of words expressing my love for Chanel finally led to despair last week, therefore leading me to just GO and get something beautiful. I wanted to get something special but didn't really want to splash out heavily on a bag, just yet. So, I went for shoes.

I went for a 'shop' in Harrods, Did you know they sell porches? (At that moment in time I tweeted that Harrods sell porches instead, in the aim of expressing my hatred for the rich) - Next time I should learn to spell before I do. Anyway, back to business. I first trotted into Christian Louboutin. Regardless of falling majorly in love with the nude Pigalle's they would be an utter waste, because lets be serious- where will I be wearing those bad boys.

These particular shoes were love at first sight. Unfortunately, the Chanel at Harrods did not have them, so I 'ran' to Selfridges (via train, that is.) I literally spent a good hour trying on 3/4 pairs of the same shoes, in different sizes again, and again. Initially, a gentlemen was helping me, who to be honest wasn't the greatest of help because I was so close to buying a size that was really quite small. Hence, the reason of me being unsure and trying on so many pairs. After the whole drama, the most wonderful lady came over and helped me and thoroughly checked if the shoes actually fitted well. She pointed out the ones that I was going to buy (thanks to the gentlemen's help) was TOO small. Thanks to her help, I finally went for 38.5 which was a tad big. However, she made me try on various full leather soles which helped solve the situation, as my feet being quite slim and long meant that I didn't have the right fit for the shoe. Therefore, the 38.5 was the closet to perfect for me.

Overall, I questioned myself when I was stressing and being all over dramatic on buying just a pair of shoes. But, we can quickly answer that question. Its Chanel and goddam expensive. I would totally recommend the Chanel shoe salon, as the ladies there are amazing and the salon is so much more better than the one in Harrods.

These are limited edition, and therefore chose them over the classics. They do not have a specific name from what I know, however their ID number is: G02819Y15414. They retail for £385. I know- I questioned the price- but what can one do, they're Chanel.  Check all the flats here.

p.s. I am actually a size 39, but in this instance, it seems that in Chanel shoes they run quite big. Plus, my feet being very slim and long means that I needed a smaller size.
